 It’s time for my Good Day Sacramento May Book Review Segment! This month is extra special because we are celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander & Jewish American Heritage Month all through the month of May! To honor these beautiful cultures, I’m sharing three books I’ve recently discovered and love! First up, a book for all ages, CHINESE MENU by Grace Lin. Next, coming out on on May 21st, a story for #YA & upper #mglit lovers, SUMMER NIGHTS AND METEORITES by Hannah Reynolds, and last but not least, a classic #picturebook read, IRVING BERLIN: THE IMMIGRANT BOY WHO MADE AMERICA SING, by Nancy Churnin.

2022 Good Day Sacramento Book Review Segment


In episode 1 of my "Good Day Sacramento" book review segment, I review stories dealing with the important topic of our environment! Watch as I talk about the witty & important "Consider the Octopus!" by award winning authors, Gae Polisner & Nora Raleigh Baskin. I also share my thoughts on the popular & entertaining "Max Einstein" series, by  the world's best selling author, James Patterson and co-authored by Chris Grabenstein 

TAKE 1: I was so excited to be invited by Good Day Sacramento to read from the book "The Only Jew in the Jungle" (It's a book that comes with the "Mensch On the Bench") that talks about being the only Jewish person in a community. A special memory I'll not soon forget!
